Will my roof work for solar?
Four things decide it. Most roofs pass.
1. Direction
In New Jersey, south-facing roofs make the most power. East and west roofs still work well, just a little less.
2. Shade
Trees and nearby buildings that shade your roof for part of the day cut output. We look at this first.
3. Condition
If the roof needs replacing soon, it is smarter to do that before panels go up. We tell you up front.
4. Space
A typical home needs a few hundred square feet of clear roof. Flat commercial roofs usually have more than enough.
What to do
Send us your address and monthly bill. We check the roof and come back with a size and price. No cost, no pressure.
